Directions
The Spring 2023 Oregon AAPT meeting is NOT at the Chemeketa Salem campus on Lancaster NE. You will be sad, lonely, confused, and late if you go there.
To get to the Chemeketa Northwest Wine Studies Center (a.k.a. Chemeketa Eola) from most locations, take Highway 22 through West Salem, then take a right on Doaks Ferry Road near the Eola Inn (which is now a used car lot). Coming from the West, take Highway 22 East and then turn left (carefully) on Doaks Ferry Road. Chemeketa’s Northwest Wine Studies Center is on the left. The campus is very small; just park anywhere close to the buildings, no EV chargers (but several within 2 miles). Follow the signs into building 1 (not the house near the entrance or the building on the left) once you are parked.
DO NOT take Maple Hill Drive, regardless of what Google Maps says. You would need to drive a Range Rover, hike through the woods, park illegally, and trespass if you insisted on going that way.

Here are some suggestions for an effective Zoom interaction:
-
Check that your Microphone & video are on.
-
Shared whiteboard allows you to write together in real-time on a digital white board. Using a tablet with a pen will give a better experience than a computer.
-
Headphones with a boom mic work best in loud rooms.
-
Having a small white board held up to your camera can be very effective.
