WHO WE ARE
Keeping Physics Fun!
The Oregon Chapter of the American Association of Physics Teachers (ORAAPT) is a community of physics educators from around the state. We are affiliated with the national organization American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT). We bring educators together to share best practices in teaching, host workshops, share demonstrations, and preview the latest in laboratory equipment. What makes us unique is a passion for keeping physics fun and engaging for all students.
ACTIVITIES

TEACHING IN THE TIME OF COVID-19
We have become experts on distance learning and some have had the extra challenge of simultaneous in-person and remote teaching. As we pass the half-way point of the pandemic, there are valuable lessons about equity and access to learning that we can take away. Feel free to visit our Resources page and if you have anything you would like to add, email us HERE or reply to our latest blog post.
